RANDELL, John - Passed away suddenly at sea on August 20, 2004, age 52
years. Predeceased by his parents Whitfield and Ruby Randell. Left with fond
and everloving memories: Wife Geri, son Jeremy, St. Catharine's, ON; brothers:
Fred, St. John's, Garry (Bonnie), Port Rexton; one nephew, Joshua; one aunt,
Gwen; many cousins and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place
and a service will be held at Christ Church, Port Rexton, Friday, August 27, 2
p.m. Interment at the Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton. No flowers by request.

REX, Allan G.- Died tragically as a result of a traffic accident in Calgary, Alta., on June 23, Allan Rex of St. John's. Predeceased by parents Raymond and Olive Rex. Leaving to mourn are his wife Olivera MacIsaac, Calgary, daughter Christina (Elvin Singer) and grandson Brandon, Nova Scotia, son Michael, Nova Scotia and step-daughters Michelle and Tanya Locke, Calgary, brother Douglas (Marilyn), St. John's, nephews Douglas Jr., Oklahoma, Gregory, Nova Scotia, Brian, Alberta, other family members, especially his aunt Phoebe Rex and cousin David Rex, Port Rexton and his uncle Cecil Rex, Conception Bay South. A funeral service will take place from the McInnis and Holloway's Park Memorial Chapel in Calgary followed by cremation and interment. A memorial service will be held at St. Michael and All Angels Church, St. John's on Tuesday, June 29 at 2 p.m.
REX, Phoebe - Passed away suddenly at her home in Port Rexton on Sunday,
December 12, 2004, Phoebe Rex in her 86th year. Leaving to morn son David
(Anita), granddaughters Roxane, Michelle (Glen), Heather (Scott),
great-grandson Peter, brother Cecil and a wide circle of other relatives and
friends. Funeral services will take place from Christ Church in Port Rexton on
Wednesday, December 15 at 2:00 PM.
RICH, Ruby - Passed suddenly away at her residence in Gin Cove on June 2,
2004, Ruby Rich, age 57 years. Left with fond and loving memories her husband
Leonard (Len) of 13 years; mother Mildred Goldsworthy, Golden Heights

Sunday, November 21, 2004, Peter Rodway of Clarenville, aged 78 years.
Predeceased by his wife Malvenia and his parents Frank and Lily Rodway.

ROWE, Margaret Bernice (March) - September 3, 1923 - April 4, 2004. Margaret
was one of nine children born to Stephen and Gertrude March, Green's Harbour,
Trinity Bay. She was predeceased by her parents and other family members as
follows: husband Alfred, October 13, 1992; son Dennis, age four months,
November 1960; sisters, Lillian Wheeler, Mildred Cranford, Elsie Holloway, Jane
Cooper, brothers, Harold and Kenneth. She is survived by sisters Muriel Reid
(Dildo) and Audrey Holloway (Port Blandford). On May 16, 1940 Margaret
married Alfred Rowe of Chance Cove, whose parents she had worked for as a
"servant girl." They became the proud parents of 15 children, nine sons and six
daughters. Over the years, the family expanded to include six sons-in-law and
eight daughters-in-law, 34 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She is
survived by Shirley Collett (Leslie), Fair Haven, NL; Rona Jenkins (Wayne),
Kitchener, ON; Reuben (Marilyn), Chance Cove; Major Raymond (Audrey), St.
John's, NL; George (Sheila), Tumbler Ridge, BC; Herman (Carmel), Torbay, NL;
Beulah Best (Fred), Brampton, ON; Marilyn Dyer (Brian), Thunder Bay, ON;
Caroline Legge (Dennis), London, ON; Winsor (Karen), Parksville, BC; Paul
(Marie), Chance Cove, NL; Major Craig (Patsy), Sudbury, ON; Velda Warren
(Wade), Barrie, ON; Captain Peter (Janice), Kitchener, ON; and all 34
grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Salvation Army
