FLEMING, Samuel P. - Passed peacefully away at his residence in the presence
of his family on Tuesday, December 21, 2004, Samuel P. Fleming, age 85, of
Torbay, NL, formerly of Melrose, Trinity Bay. Leaving to mourn his wife of 55
years, Angela (Mackey); sons: William, Alberta, Samuel J., Alberta, Don
(Donna), Dennis (Shelley); daughters: Eileen Finch (Dave), Margie Hancock
(Doug), Joanne (Derek Penney); seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as
well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of close
friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation Tuesday from 7
p.m. - 10 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 12
noon. Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Holy Trinity
Church, Torbay. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line. Flowers
gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Holy Trinity
Church Building Fund. FOWLOW, Rex - Passed away at the Health Sciences Complex on Sunday, November 7, 2004, Rex Fowlow, aged 78 years (USAF retired, Personnel Director, Wabush Mines). Predeceased by son: Edward Rex (1990). Will be sadly missed by wife Mary; son: Wayne (Judy Ann Watson), dear daughter: Wendy; grandchildren: Robert and Jennifer Fowlow, and Newman and Thomas Skinner; two step-granddaughters: Heidi Windsor-Scott & Devon Windsor. Also survived by his sisters: Faye Brown, St. John's and Barbara Leaman, Halifax; brother: Oscar (Greta), Trinity East; two brothers-in-law: Bill (Elsie), George (Mabel); sister-in-law: Gloria (Ken). Also leaving to mourn nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Mazol Shriners Patient Transportation Fund. GREELEY, Cyril Matthew - Passed away suddenly at his residence in
Hickman's Harbour on March 17, 2004, age 64 years. Predeceased by father
Lindsey Greeley. Leaving to mourn wife Phyllis; his mother Lizzie Greeley;
daughters Karen Gardiner (Terry) and Beverley Penton (Frank); grandchildren
Michael Gardiner, Shelbie and Chad Penton; brother Sandy (Barb); sisters Dolda
Redman (Bob) and Wilhemina Noseworthy (George); many nieces and nephews,
also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral
Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation from 2-10 p.m. on Friday. Funeral
service to take place from Memorial United Church, Portugal Cove on Saturday,
March 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or

GREEN, Alfred - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, Alfred Green of Winterton, age 84 years. Predeceased by wife Lillian (2000), brother Fred (1993) and sister Florence Ford (1999). Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories three sons: Fred (Shirley), Melvin (Eileen) and Donald (Glenda); three daughters: Joan Hiscock (Gordon) Jean Greeley (Bill) and Brenda Evans (Don); 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law: Ethel, Lizzie and Nellie Green; three brothers-in-law: Lawrence Green (Lillian), Melvin Green (Eleanor) and Ralph Ford. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Green`s Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-noon. Funeral service to take place at 2 p.m. from Trinity United Church, with interment in Trinity United Cemetery, Winterton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity United Church Memorial Fund, Winterton.
HARTY, Thomas - Passed peacefully away at Tricon Manor, Winterton on
Wednesday, March 31, 2004, Thomas Harty of Hearts Content, age 79 years.
Predeceased by two sons: Thomas, 1997 and Jerome, 1962; his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. James Harty. Leaving to mourn his wife Agnes (nee Ryan), residing at the
Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear; one son, Leo, Ontario; one brother,
William (Mary); two sisters: Anne Mahoney and Margaret Byrne; three
grandchildren; also a large circle of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home,
Winterton on Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m.; Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at
which time the funeral service will take place. Interment to follow in St. Joseph's
R.C. Cemetery, Turks Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a
charity of ones choice.
