EDWARDS, Alexander Keeping - Passed away at the Bonavista Health Care Centre Monday, April 15, 2002, Alexander Edwards, age 85. Predeceased by Diane Edwards, wife of his son Maxwell Edwards also on April 15, 2002. Leaving to mourn his wife Alfreda; sons Maxwell, Bruce (Deanna); his daughters Nancy Edwards and Linda (Edward) King; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sisters Sarah (Sally) Wood and Nellie Boone. Resting at Strathie`s Funeral Home, Catalina. Funeral from St. Peter`s Anglican Church, Catalina on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at 2 pm. Interment at St. Peter`s Anglican Cemetery, Catalina. FOLLETT, Carrie - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, January 29th, 2002, Carrie Follett of Winterton, age 52 years. Leaving to mourn husband Lloyd; two sons: Junior and Reggie; and one daughter Darlene; mother Vina Warren; two sisters: Patsy French (Calvin) and Linda Pickard; two brothers: Charlie and David Warren; five step-sisters: Mary Parrott, Jeanette Potter, Elizabeth Peddle, Doris Oliver and Sylvia Pitcher; three step-brothers: Rick, Stan and Wilfred Piercey; one brother-in-law Jonah Follett; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. FOST, Frederick S. (Fred) - Passed peacefully away at the Waterford Hospital after a short illness on Friday, July 26, 2002; Fred Fost of Heart`s Delight, aged 74 years. He resided at the Waterford Hospital for six months. Predeceased by parents Charles and Elizabeth Fost; brothers James and Arthur Fost. Leaving to mourn brother Hedley Fost (Sadie), Heart`s Delight, sisters: Hilda Mayo, Heart`s Delight, Mildred Slade, Salmon Cove, Florence Hopkins (Joseph), Green`s Harbour, sister-in-law Rhoda Fost, Heart`s Delight, and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at the SUF Lodge, Heart`s Delight, from Saturday, 6 p.m. until the funeral at St. Matthew`s Church, Heart`s Delight on Monday, July 29 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow St. Matthew`s Cemetery, Heart`s Delight. FREEMAN, Edison B. - Passed
peacefully away at the G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Sunday,
November 10, 2002 of Port Rexton, aged 84 years. Predeceased by wife Florence,
wife Carrie, brothers Maxwell and Elias John. Left with fond and loving memories
his son Selby (Margaret) of Champney`s West; step-son William Pennell (Mollie)
of Ontario; step-son Joseph John Pennell (Donna) of Toronto; step-daughter
Eileen Pennell of St. John`s; sister Beatrice and family of Bishop`s Falls;
sister-in-law Rosie and family of Champney`s West; four grandchildren: John
(Kim), Angela (Jim), Cindy (Kent), Brian (Renata); three great-grandchildren:
Hayley, Allison and Michael and a large number of relatives and friends.
Remains rested at Fewer`s Funeral Home in Port Rexton. Funeral took place
on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Anglican Church with interment at
St. Clements Anglican Cemetery in Champney`s West. In his memory, flowers
were accepted and a memorial fund to St. Clements Anglican Church.
GAVIN, Earl Wilson - May
5, 1963-November 10, 2002. Passed peacefully away on Sunday, November 10,
2002 at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with cancer,
Earl Gavin of St. John`s, aged 39 years. Leaving to mourn, loving and devoted
wife Connie; daughter Kathy Ann Chaulk; parents Shirley and Claude Gavin;
four brothers, Morris (Eunice), Douglas (Yvonne), Ronnie (Carmela), Brian
(Barb); sister Geraldine McBride (Jeff); mother- and father-in-law Evelyn
and Roy Green; sister-in-law Lisa (Paul) Crocker; brother-in-law Shane (Jennifer);
a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Resting at
the Salvation Army Citadel, Green`s Harbour Corps from 8 p.m. Monday until
time of funeral. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November
13 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow, Salvation Army Cemetery, Green`s Harbour.

peacefully away on November 6th, 2002, at Glenbrook Lodge after a short illness,
Marion Gosse, age 92, daughter of the late Amelia and William Pinsent, Dildo.
Predeceased by husband, Jonathan, son-in-law, Roderick Chafe, sister, Mildred,
brothers, Albert, Adolphus and Walter. Leaving to mourn daughters, Daphne
Frampton and Mildred Chafe, son-in-law, John Frampton, grandchildren, John,
Keith, Jeff, Kathleen and Heather and great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jamie,
Luke, Jonathan and Christopher, sisters-in-law, Amanda Ruby and Lena Thorne,
many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family wish to

Ont., formerly of Chance Cove, T.B., in his 88th year. Predeceased by his
first wife Elizabeth and brother William. Leaving to mourn his wife Priscilla
in Mississauga, sons: John (Ina), Kenneth Brace (Sheila) in St. John`s and
Philip Brace (Vera) in Lewisporte, step-son Lloyd Drodge (Sandra) in Mississauga,
sister Melita of Oakville and brother George of Oshawa. Also, twelve grandchildren,
seven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
in Newfoundland and Ontario. Remains resting at Lee`s Funeral Home, 258 Queen
St. S., Mississauga. Funeral services 11:00 am Sunday, December 22nd. Cremation
