| Garland was born in Kings Cove, Bonavista Bay on May 4 1919. He was
the son of Robert G. and
Lilly Brown Garland. He enlisted in the 166th Royal Artillery in March of 1940 (# 970306). He served in Africa and latter married in Scotland and lived there until his death on August 12, 2005. The above photo is of Garland and his future wife Elsie. Donated by Keith Brown. |
