FELTHAM, Chrissie G. - Passed away September 25, 2005. Chrissie Genevieve Feltham, age 91 years, of Bonavista. Predeceased by husband Joseph in 1972 and brother Jack. Left to mourn are sons James (Doris) of Charlottetown, P.E.I., Bruce of Surrey, B.C. Daughters Ruth (Bob Jones) of Timmins Ont., Louise (Winston Janes) of Deer Lake, NL, Patrica (Rev. Dr. Ronald Vincent) of Rothesay N.B., Jacelyn (Rev. Graham Cook) of Catalina, NL, special friend, sister-in-law Vera Forsey. Fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Rev. Patrica Ritchie will conduct funeral services at Wesley United Church, Port Aux Basques on Sept. 29, 2005. Interment at United Church Cemetery, Port Aux Basques. In lieu of flowers donations to Mission and Service Fund of United Church Canada.

FIFIELD, Rev. Cecil - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 3, 2005, the Reverend Cecil Fifield, aged 76 years. Son of the late Augustus and Bertha Fifield of Trinity East, predeceased by sister Mary and brother Gerald (Janet). Beloved husband of Marian (Hartt), cherished father of Carol (Ken Ryan), Beverley (Charlie Gearin), and David (Jill Bonnell), and adoring grandfather of Mollie Elizabeth Gearin. Also leaving to mourn sisters Amy (late William) Coles, Louise (late Calvin) Humber, Mae Glen, and Jessie (William) Abraham; brothers Harold (late Myrtle), Walter (late Edith), Mark (late Irene, Lois); special friend Joanne; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., Tuesday, October 4 and Wednesday, October 5, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Requiem Eucharist at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Thursday, October 6 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Anglican Cathedral Endowment Fund, the S.P.C.A, or a charity of ones choice.

FIFIELD, Gerald - Age 74, of Trinity East, passed peacefully away on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, after a very short illness. Son of the late Augustus and Bertha Fifield and brother of the late Mary Fifield. Deeply mourned and forever loved by his devoted and loving wife Janet (Bannister) and children: Lorraine (Will) Wiseman, Adele and Phillip (Jody Miller); and adoring grandchildren: Shane and Abby Wiseman; also by sisters: Amy (late William) Coles, Louise (late Calvin) Humber, Mae Glen and Jessie (William) Abraham; brothers: Harold (late Myrtle), Walter (late Edith), Mark (late Irene, Lois), Reverend Cecil (Marian); also sisters-in-law: Winnie (late Wallace) House and Anita Bannister (Jim Moody); and by many cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives and by a multitude of friends.

FOSTER, Bernice - Passed suddenly away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Tuesday, November 8, 2005, Bernice Foster of Shoal Harbour, aged 70 years. Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Frederick Jones; sisters: Lillian Howell, Joyce Clancey and Evelyn Doman and son-in-law Glenn White. Left with fond and loving memories, her husband Melvin of 50 years; daughters: Linda White of Sparwood, BC, Arlene Sharpe (Derek) of Labrador City, Marina Fry (Lester) of Charleston, Tammy Collett (Blake) of Clarke's Beach and Christina Foster; six grandchildren: Shawn, Matthew, Steven, Chelsea, Zachary and Shane; sister Minnie Noseworthy (Bill) of Lewisporte; brothers: Bramwell Jones (Betty) of Lewisporte and Eugene Lush (Rowena) of Badger and a large number of relatives and friends. Remains resting at Fewer's Funeral Home in Clarenville. Funeral will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2005 at the Salvation Army Church in Clarenville with Interment at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Clarenville. In her memory flowers are accepted or a Memorial Fund to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund or a charity of one's choice.

FOWLOW, Rev. Guy - Passed peacefully away at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, Reverend Guy Thorne Fowlow at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by his wife Muriel; brother Donald and sister Phyllis Curnew. He leaves to mourn sons: Geoffrey (Fay Matthews), Arnold's Cove, Douglas (Georgina Gaudon), Kippens; daughter-in-law Juanita Fowlow, Stephenville; four grandchildren: Stephen, Burbank, California, Susan, Stephenville, Jamie, Corner Brook, Sandy Oakfield, NS; three great-grandchildren: Colin, Davis and Sadie; his sister, Edith Ebsary, Eastern Passage, NS; other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from the Anglican Cathedral with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. FRANCIS, Edith M. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, March 27, 2005, Edith Francis of New Chelsea, age 100 years. Predeceased by her husband Lorenzo and two sons: Albert and Freeman. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories three daughters: Bride Belbin (Basil), Blanche Bailey (Ernest) and Helen Ash; four sons: Wallace (Evelyn), Wilson (Alma), Clyde (Ruby) and Hayward (Bette); daughter-in-law: Sylvia Francis; twenty-four grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visiting hours Tuesday 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Wednesday visitation will take place at Wesley United Church, New Chelsea from 10:00 - 12:00 noon. GELDART, Margaret - Upper Coverdale: Margaret Marie (Margie) Geldart, 60, of Upper Coverdale passed away Monday January 10, 2005.

Born at Milton, NL., she was a daughter of the late Frederick J. and Dulcie (Adams) Greening. Margie was the owner-operator of Dawne Glo Beauty Salon in her home. Leisure time included bowling, fishing, helping her husband with firewood and family gatherings.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 32 years Dale, children Shelli of Ottawa, Jason of Salisbury, step-daughter Susan MacDonald of Sussex and her five children, sister Doreen Rose (Delano) of Clarenville NL, brother Austin Greening of Riverview. Visitation will be from the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) on Wednesday January 12 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home and will be private for family with Rev. Kathleen Zwicker officiating. If so desired memorials to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca

GILBERT, Andrew Jacob - March 3, 2005. This darling little angel watches from heaven all those mourning their loss. Daddy and Mommy, Scott and Renee (nee George) and precious sisters: Olivia and Emma; loving grandparents: Vaughn and Ruby George, Eva Gilbert and Bob Striha and great-grandmother Lucy Stevens; caring aunts and uncles: Justin and Danielle, Linda and Keith (Amanda); special aunt and uncle, Rodney and Lorie (Charlotte); also sharing the family's loss a large number of relatives and many friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo on Saturday, March 5th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 6th at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Faith United Church Cemetery, Green's Harbour.

Resting at the Pentecostal Church, Norman's Cove from where the Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Pentecostal Cemetery on Long Cove Rd. GOOBIE, Florence Lillian (nee Harnum) - Passed peacefully away at her home in Whiteway, Trinity Bay on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in her 78th year. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Cece; two daughters: Sandra Parsons (George), St. John's and Audrey Russell (Doug), Bay Roberts; three sons: Sandy Duffett (Marie), Mount Pearl, David Goobie, Ft. McMurray and Glen Goobie, Ottawa. Also left to mourn one brother: Bob Harnum, Mount Pearl; one sister: Marina Hiscock (Bill), Winterton, T.B. and eight grandchildren: Scott and Dana Parsons, Mark and Robyn Russell, Colin and Stephen Duffett, Dianne and David Goobie (Jr); as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at St. Andrews Church, Whiteway, Trinity Bay. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 9 and 10, 2005 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 2 pm. Born to Violet (Parrott) and Joseph Green of Winterton in 1933. Predeceased by granddaughter Brandy-Leigh in 1982; brother Wallace (Doris); sisters: Violet (Lloyd) and Gladys; nephews: Billy Kelland and Paul Green. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Mary; one daughter Judy (Ches); four sons: Bertram (Donna) of N.S., Kenneth (Noreen), Glen (Kelly) and Stephen (Gertie); eleven grandchildren: Kenny, Paul, Beverly, Jason, Darrell, Shawn, Jennifer, Jessie, Erin, Stephanie and Ashley; three great-grandchildren: Brandi, Carrie and Scott. Also former daughter-in-law Darlene; brother-in-law George Moores; three nieces: Linda, Joan and Clara; sisters-in-law: Ada (Stewart) Dewling, Ruth (Rick) Heffernan; brothers-in-law Max (Gert) Clarke and Jack (Rhoda) Clarke of Montreal; many friends in the deaf community; and as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 13 and 14, 2005, from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place on Friday, April 15, 2005, from Barrett's Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Karen (George Green), Winterton, Jean Green, Hant's Harbour; two grandsons: Roger (Adella), Clarkes Beach, Rodney (Lisa), Carbonear; two great-grandsons: Riley and Adrian; one sister: Effie Bridger, St. John's; one brother: Pastor Eric Janes, Clarkes Beach; two sisters-in-law: Ethel Green and Effie Janes, Hant's Harbour. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Green's Funeral Home, Winterton. Visitation Tuesday and Wednesday 2 pm - 5 pm and 7 pm - 10 pm, Thursday 10 am - 12 noon.
