Calgarian Joined British Expeditionary Force, April 8, 1916 Embarked for Egypt, April 8, 1916 - transferred to Marsailles Wounded in battle in France, July 14, 1916 Died in France October 12, 1916 No record of burial. “Died in France from wounds received in battle October 12, 1916.” (Quote from Church register of deaths.) Honor Roll Beaumont Hamel Memorial Name inscribed on St. George’s Church window.
