Jacob Miller Royal Newfoundland Navy Canadian Expeditionary Force

Jacob Miller of Joe Batt’s Arm. He is the 5th man from the right in the front row [he’s sitting with his legs straight out and crossed at the ankles]. He served in the Newfoundland Naval Reserve and trained on the HMS Calypso in 1912-1913.
Jacob Miller Newfoundland Naval Reserve	Sgt. Jacob Miller [MM] World War 1 #488657 Canadian Expeditionary Force Jacob served as a machine gunner in France and Flanders. He is the one seated in a CEF uniform. He returned to Joe Batt’s Arm following the War.
