James joined the Royal Newfoundland Regiment on 30th Apr 1916 at the age of 21 years. He gave his address as 487 Southside Road, St. John's. His trade was Boiler Maker. He married Gertrude Besso? on 17 Sep 1912 and he had two children. Willie [1914] and Annie [1915]. |
