Pte William Wallace King Reg #5841, was born 12 Jun 1899 to James King and Mary Ann LeGrow in Bauline.

He immigrated to Chelsea Ma, 9 Oct 1923 , where he meet and married Maisie Ella Hudson from Adams Cove. Together they raised 5 children, three sons and two daughters. I am the youngest daughter.
My dad never talk much about his past but I am finding out today that he was a brave young man. It is to late to tell him how proud I am, he past away Feb 1970 in North Reading Ma.

Pte William Wallace King was awarded the "British War Medal".
