Kenneth William Dean was born 1860 in Seldom Fogo Island. The son of Isaac Dean & Annie Rowsell Dean, both of Seldom. Kenneth married Lucinda Anthony also from Seldom. They moved to Botwood where he was employed as a Millwright at the local mill. He served during the war from 1914 to early 1919, he returned home to the same job. Kenneth and Lucinda had four sons and two daughters. He died and was buried in Botwood in 1926.
