Frank Dawe was born on 10/3/1900 in Foxtrap, Conception
He was a private in the 1st Newfounfdland regiment winning the Military
Medal at 17 1/2 yrs old .
He then went on to serve in the Royal
Navy and was mentioned in depatches for good services at sea.
to life in Kilmarnock, Scotland after WWII and settled there with his
living well into his eighties with his 'newfie' accent
