I am trying to find information about Minnie Champion from Hant's Harbour, born in 1884. Any info would be a great help.

Found in the Hants Harbour Methodist Vital Statistics Births 1875-1891. On line 1 (one) of the following link; It reads : Born Feb 10, 1882 at Hants Harbour to William and Rosanna Champion a daughter Minnie. Baptised on Mar 6, 1882 by Geo. P. Story.

The following was found in the 1921 Census for Hants Harbour, It shows William and Roseannah Champion living there in 1921. William was born Sept 1842 at Lower Island Cove Conception Bay and Roseannah was born Jul 1845 at New Melbourne (Russells Cove).

Here is birth for Rosanna To Peter and Jane Mansfield at Indian Point, New Melbourne (Russells Cove) line 15.

This may be where the story gets tangled, when they spoke of where she was born,Indian Point, through the years it may have been confused with having Indian Blood Lines. I grew up approx a mile from Indian Point and I have never heard of anyone there having Indian Blood Lines. The only way to find out is to trace Peter Mansfield and Jane Poole back to see if there is Native (Indian ) blood lines.
