Use the following address for "ALL" messages to be posted on the NGB Mailing List:

ngb_info@chebucto.ns.ca

REMEMBER: You must be a member (i.e. subscriber) of the list before you can post mesages.

Below, you will find the different methods of changing your account preferences.

To Manage your NGB Mailing List Subscription:

Send a message to
majordomo@chebucto.ns.ca
and use one of the following commands
to make changes to how you use the NGB Mailing List:

To Subscribe from the List:
Type subscribe ngb_info
into the body of the message

To Unsubscribe from the List:
Type unsubscribe ngb_info
into the body of the message

To Subscribe to the Digest:
Type subscribe ngb_info-digest
into the body of the message

To Unsubscribe from the Digest:
Type unsubscribe ngb_info-digest
into the body of the message

NOTE:
Be sure to leave the subject box blank and delete any signatures.

It is common practice to include the "surnames" referenced in the message
in the "SUBJECT" line for ease of reading the message.
(list family names within letter or what you are writing about)

NOTE:

CHEBUCTO WILL NOT ACCEPT
any messages which are not formatted as "PLAIN TEXT".
They will be bounced and not posted to the Mailing list

Any messages in Mime (HTML Coding) will be bounced and not delivered.

Be sure to set your preferences to

"Plain Text"

when sending messagtes to the NGB Mailing List.

To switch from digest to regular

you need to
first UNSUBSCRIBE from the Regular mailing list and
then SUBSCRIBE to the Digest form of the Mailing List.

To Unsubscribe from the List:
Type unsubscribe ngb_info
into the body of the message

To Subscribe to the Digest:
Type subscribe ngb_info-digest
into the body of the message

Or to To unsubscribe altogether you can use one of the following:
