In re
Abraham Young deceased.
I Abraham Young of Twillingate
South side, South Island in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland
make this my last will and testament while in the possession of sound
mind and memory this the third day of October A.D. 1905 I
give devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal in
the following manner
(1) I give and devise unto my sons Levi Young, Joseph
Young, Obediah Young, Matthew Young and Abraham Young the
several parts or parcels of land now occupied by them on the South Side
of the main-line without further division or alteration to their heirs
and assigns.
II I give and devise unto my two sons Matthew Young and
Abraham Young my property known as the farm to be equally
divided between them.
III. I give and devise my fishing premises consisting
of flakes stage etc situated on the water side of main - line to my five
sons above named to be equally divided amongst them, with this exception
that my son Joseph is to have and possess independent
of the rest of the waterside premises the land on which his old dwelling
- house store and kitchen garden is. i.e. it is not included in the above
named waterside premises. Also that my son Joseph is
to have the part or share allotted to him adjoining the premises formerly
occupied by the late Josiah
Linfield.
IV
Should either of my sons leave Twillingate and settle else where and
not return for three years, after this will is probated the part or property
assigned to him within the meaning of this will is to be sold to the
remaining son or sons as the one left deem best, and should no son be
in position to buy then the property in question is to be divided amongst
those remaining.
V I give and devise unto my son Levi my dwelling
- house bed and bedding also one gun.
Lastly revoking all other
wills by me made I hereby appoint Robert Hayward and Charles
White teacher
to be my executors of this my last will and testament. A I hereby devise that my executors shall not be required to give security
for the performance of the same.

Young have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3rd day
of Oct 1905 Abraham his x mark Young Signed by the said Abraham
Young, the testator,
by making his mark after first being read over and explained and who
seemed to perfectly understand the same, in the presence of us who in
his presence and the presence of each other at the same time subscribed
