Last will and Testament of
This is the last will and Testament of me Richard Woolgar of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Master Mariner. It is my will and desire that all my funeral expenses and just debts shall be first paid out of my estate. I give devise and bequeath unto my wife Mary Woolgar all lands goods chattels moneys and effects of every description whatsoever of which I may die possessed for her sole and separate use To have and to hold the same unto my said wife Mary Woolgar her Executors administrators and assigns for ever. And I hereby appoint my said wife Mary Woolgar the sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Richard Woolgar have set my hand to this my last will and Testament the third day of March Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety six. (Sgd) Richard Woolgar - Signed published and declared by the above named Richard Woolgar as his last will and Testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses (sgd) Charles H.
