Last Will and Testament of
Michael Woodford of Woodford Station Hr. Main
Licensed Publican deceased.
This is the last will and Testament of me Michael
Woodford of Woodford Station District of Harbor Main Licensed Publican. I give
devise and bequeath to my son Richard all that property situate at the North
Arm comprising dwelling and other houses thereon and bounded as follows: -
On the North by property owned by Thomas Moore, on the south by property owned
by Matthew Duff, on the East the water and on the west by Collins Pond Also
all that piece of land at Skibersen bounded as follows on the north by land
owned by William Dwyer, on the south by land owned by Martin
Healy. East the
local road and west by Collins Pond.
To my son Philip I give all
that piece or parcel of land with the cottage thereon situate and bounded as
follows: - On the north by road leading to station, on the south by land owned
by William Moore, on the east by main line road and on the
west by railroad.
To my son John James now residing in Canada I give all that
piece or parcel of land opposite the station and bounded as follows. On north
by the R. road, on south by local road on east the R. Road (Railway) and on
the west by land owned by William Dwyer and my son Richard.
To my son Thomas now residing in Canada in case he returns to reside permanently
in Newfoundland all that piece or parcel of land situate and bounded as follows
north by land owned by Richard and Martin Fitzgerald, on the south the water,
on the east by land owned by Fitzgerald and on the west by land owned by Thomas
Moore. Should my said son Thomas elect to reside permanently in Canada or elsewhere
then the above mentioned property reverts to my son Philip.
The residue of my property with the dwelling houses and other buildings thereon
I leave to my wife Catherine Woodford during her lifetime, and at her death
to dispose of as she thinks best and I appoint James Quinlan and Patrick
O'Brien executors of this my will and revoke all previous wills by me at any time heretofore
made. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand this Thirtieth day of November
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety two. (Sgd) Michael
Woodford. Signed by the said Michael Woodford the Testator in our presence
who in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe
our names as witnesses. (Sgd) T. P. O'Donnell. (Sgd) James Quinlan
I certify the foregoing to be a correct
copy of the last will and Testament of Michael Woodford deceased</p>
