Will of Susannah Withycombe from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 698 probate year 1892 Last will and testament of This is the last will and testament of me Susannah Withycombe widow of the late Captain William Withycombe of St. John's in the island of Newfoundland. I give devise and bequeath unto William Robert Withycombe my nephew south side St. John's aforesaid cooper all that piece or parcel of land with dwelling house and premises situate on Lazy Bank (now called Pleasant Street) and which said land was devised by Indenture of lease to the late John Farze to have and to hold the same absolutely for ever. I give devise and bequeath all my property of whatever kind whatsoever unto the said William Robert Withycombe. I appoint the said William Robert Withycombe to be my sole executor of this my will. Dated at St. John's this eleventh day of November A.D. 1891. (Sgd) Susannah her x mark Withycombe. Signed by the said testatrix in the presence of us who in the presence of each other and in the presence of the said testatrix hereto subscribe our names as witnesses having been previously read over and explained.
