Last will and testament
of Amelia Winter
of St. John's Married Woman Deceased
.

This is the last will and testament of me Amelia Winter wife of Dr. John Winter of St. John's Newfoundland. I give and bequeath to my dear husband Dr. John Winter during his life all the property and monies in my possession or that I may become entitled to by will or otherwise, and it is my will that after the death of my dear husband Dr. John Winter the aforesaid property and monies now in my possession or that I may become entitled to by will or otherwise with all that I die possessed of shall be conveyed to my dear niece Isabella Amelia Winter daughter of George Winter and Leonora Sophia Winter for her sole use and benefit disposal of by will or otherwise absolutely. But in case of my above named niece Isabella Amelia Winter dying before me or without leaving a will, then it is my wish that all left to her as above shall become the property of my niece Marion Leonore Winter daughter of George and Leonora Sophia Winter absolutely. I hereby nominate my niece Isabella Amelia Winter executrix and my friends Henry Cooke Esqr and Hon. George T. Rendell executors to this my last will and testament in full confidence of their carrying out all in accordance with my wishes. And I declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Amelia Winter have hereunto set my hand and seal at St. John's Newfoundland this tenth day of April eighteen hundred and ninety. Amelia Winter (L.S.) Signed sealed and published by the said Amelia Winter as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the same at the time and place above written the word "Aty's" being inserted on the first page over the words "declare" and "to" Arthur C. F. Wood. Jessie A. Branscombe.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Amelia Winter.
