Last Will and Testament of
George Williams Sr of Carbonear N.D.
Fisherman deceased.
In the name of the Holy Blessed & glorious
Trinity three persons & one God Amen.
This is the last will & Testament
of George Williams Senior of Carbonear in Conception Bay in Newfoundland. First
I do give and bequeath to my Grandson William Pike all and singular my land
and property together with all erections thereon with all things appertaining
thereto and all appurtenance thereunto belonging to be for him and his children
for ever. Item: to my two daughters Mary & Ann each one shilling sterling.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Carbonear aforesaid
this twenty third day of November A.D. 1889 one thousand eight hundred and
eighty nine (sgd) George Williams his mark x (LS) In presence of us (sgd) James
Stokes. (Sgd) John Stokes
I certify the foregoing to be a correct
copy of the last will and Testament of George Williams Sr. deceased
