Last will and testament
of Catherine Williams
of Bay Bulls Widow Deceased
.

This is the last will and testament of me Catherine Williams of Bread and Cheese Cove Bay Bulls Island of Newfoundland. I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be paid and satisfied by my executor hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease. I give and bequeath to my son Michael Williams my house and household furniture garden in front yard and stable in the rear of said house I give and bequeath to my son William Williams my kitchen garden with land in rear of said kitchen garden to the North end of stable to go from thence parallel with eastern boundary I give and bequeath to my son James Williams that piece of meadow land fronting on public road and bounded on the western side by Henry's land and on the eastern side by my dwelling house and stable and the piece of land allotted to my son William. I give bequeath to my daughter Catherine O'Rielly my share of John's property. I give and bequeath to my son John Williams the sum of five shillings sterling. I give and bequeath to my son Henry Williams four shillings sterling. I give and bequeath to my nephew John Henry Williams the sum of four pounds sterling. I give and bequeath to my children William Williams Michael Williams James Williams and Catherine O'Rielly my money in Savings Bank after my just debts funeral expenses and testamentary expenses, be equally divided amongst them and I nominate constitute and appoint my son William to be executor of this my last will, and hereby revoking all other wills and testaments by me at any other time heretofore made I declare this to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said Catherine Williams here to this my last will and testament set my hand the seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty four Catherine Williams (L.S.) Signed by the Testator and acknowledged by her to be her last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time and subscribed by us in presence of said Testator and of each other. Cornelius Brien Michael Mokeler.
I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and testament of Catherine Williams.
