      The Last Will & Testament of George Whitten residing on the Southside St. John’s Newfoundland    I give & bequeath at my death the sum of forty dollars $40.00 to my son Daniel Whitten To my daughter Ellenorah Weader I leave my house & land absolutely together with furniture & effects & all money after my funeral & other expenses are paid    In the event of her death all the property left to her shall be given to my daughter Elizabeth Boone witness my hand this 8^th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred & five    George his X mark Whitten     In the presence of Cyril C.V.
