Will of Robert White
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 500-501
probate year 1912
In re
Robert White deceased.
This is the last will and testament
of me Robert White, of Trinity in the Island of Newfoundland I appoint my sons William
Charles White and Arthur Ernest White to be
my executors. I give devise and bequeath all monies remaining to my credit
in the Newfoundland Savings Bank and all monies that shall be paid into
my estate from my life insurance unto my daughter Henrietta Sarah
White.
I desire that all other monies of which I may die possessed be divided
equally amongst my surviving children and the children of any deceased
child or children, the children of a deceased child taking only their
parents share and not per capita.
I direct that my son Arthur
Ernest White have the use of my land at Gats Cove and the use of my dwelling
house lands and other property in Trinity as long as he may require the
same, for the use of himself and his family so long as he or any of them
continue to reside in Trinity; but if he and all his family at any time
remove from Trinity and make a permanent home elsewhere I direct that
all the aforesaid property become the property of my children then living
as tenants in common. Should my children at any time mutually agree there
being no member of my son Arthur Ernest White family remaining in Trinity
to occupy my house and lands, such house and lands or any portion of
the same may be sold and the proceeds equally divided as to the one half
the other half to be taken by my son Arthur Ernest White his
heirs and survivors.
In witness whereof I the said Robert White, have
to this my last will and testament set my name this First day of May
in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven - Robert
White - Signed by the testator in the presence of us present
