Will of Hugh White, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 pages 141 & 142 probate year 1930

IN RE.                DECEASED

HUGH WHITE

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me, Hugh White, of Port Nelson, in the Island of Newfoundland, Fisherman, made this 26th day of December, in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty eight.
I hereby revoke all Wills and other testamentary dispositions made by me at my time heretofore. I appoint my son Kenneth Peary White to be the Executor of this my last Will and Testament and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease,

  1. I give and bequeath unto my son Kenneth Peary White the Big Cloddy Island and the Eastern Cloddy Island situate at the south side of Port Nelson.
  2. I give and bequeath unto my wife, Elisa White, to my daughter Minnie Florinda White and to my son Kenneth Peary White the dwelling house now occupied by me, all the furniture and personal property which it contains to be used each and severally for the benefit of each of them as they see fit.
  3. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Minnie Florinda White, and to my son Kenneth Peary White, all that piece or parcel of land now owned and occupied by me situate at the South side of Port Nelson, opposite Cloddy Island, with all the appurtenances thereto belonging to hold the same unto them their administrators and assigns forever.
  4. I also give and bequeath unto my said daughter Minnie Florinda White and to my son Kenneth Peary White all my fishing property, motor engine, boats, stores, stage and flakes.
  5. Whatever money I may be possessed of at my decease, in the Bank of Montreal, I give and bequeath unto my wife Elisa White, and after her decease all I have bequeathed unto her, money included (if any remain) will revert unto my said son Kenneth Peary White and my said daughter Minnie Florinda White.
  6. I give and bequeath unto my son William Wilkinson White all that piece or parcel of land situate at the south side of Port Nelson and bounded as follows, that is to say; On the East by Peter Bragg's land, on the south by Crown land, on the West by Carter Brothers land and on the North by the waterside.
  7. I also give and bequeath unto my said son William Wilkinson White that piece or parcel of land situate at Spryton, Munday's Pond, near the city of St John's Newfoundland.
  8. I also give and bequeath unto my son William Wilkinson White the large Bible, his mothers enlarged photograph, my watch and chain, six ten dollars shares in the Fisherman's Union Trading Company and five ten dollars shares in the Great Eastern Oil Import Company Limited.
