Will of Michael Whelan from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 524 probate year 1890 Last will and testament This is the last will and testament of me Michael Whelan of North side of Harbour Grace made this day of April twenty ninth in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine As follows I give devise and bequeath my dwelling house and all my household furniture and all the land whereon built and all effects whatsoever and wheresoever thereunto belonging to my nephew John William Byrne. I also give devise bequeath all the tools for working with and belonging to the said land with a house and all belonging to him to my nephew John William Byrne for his use forever. In witness what I have signed this twenty ninth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine knowing this to be my last will and testament Michael his x mark Whelan In presence of Andrew x Norcott Patrick X Smalcombe.
