Last Will and Testament of
Catherine Whalen of St. John's
widow deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Catherine Whelan of St. John's widow hereby revoking all other and former wills by me at any time made. I give devise and bequeath all the property of every description of which I may die possessed to my daughter Kate in religion Mary Ethelbert and to my niece Kate Ryan share and share alike I appoint my niece Kate Ryan Executrix of this my will. St. John's July 16: 1900. (Sgd) Catherine Whelen. Signed by the said Testatrix as and for her last will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses (sgd) Michael Darcy.
