Will of
Richard Webber In re This is the last will and testament of me Richard
Webber Seaman
and at present Mate of the Annie Laurie in St. John's Newfoundland,
I appoint the Revd. Mr. Harris, Wesleyan Minister, and
at present in St. John's my executor. I bequeath to my said executor his
executors, administrators and assigns my house and land at Monkstown and
all other my property of which I may die possessed or entitled unto, in
trust to lease and properly manage and care for the said house land and
property and pay over the annual proceeds and profits thereof to my wife Elizabeth for
her use and support so long as she shall live and continue unmarried, and
on her death or marriage to pay the said annual proceeds and profits to
and for the use and support of my child or children share and share alike
if more than one and if but one for the use and support of that one And
on the death of all my said children I direct that the said house, land
and property shall be divided equally between my brothers and sisters who
shall then be living if more than one and if but one all to that one. In
witness whereof I have signed and published this as my last will this 29th day of January 1857 at St. John's, Newfoundland. Certified correct, (Listed in the margin next to this will the following)
