In re
      James Cox Waterman         deceased.

      This is the last will and testament of James Cox Waterman native of Poole Dorset England now residing at Fogo in the Northern District of the Island of Newfoundland    I, James Cox Waterman considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say.
First after all my just and lawful debts are paid all moneys that I die possessed off shall be invested by my Executor as he may deem safe and justifiable for the benefit of whom it may concern, as follows.
Second I give devise and bequeath to my mother Mary Ann Waterman and my wife Jesse Waterman the yearly interest of all my moneys invested as aforesaid, that is to say my mother to receive one hundred Dollars ($100.00) per annum for her sole use and benefit during her life the balance whatsoever it may be to be enjoyed by my beloved wife so long as she may live.
Third I give devise and bequeath to my Brothers and sisters that is to say Hubert, Frederick, Francis, Katherine and Mary on the death of my wife Jesse Waterman all moneys whatsoever it may be held in trust, to be divided jointly and severaly between them or to their Heirs and successors for ever.
Fourth I give devise and bequeath to my wife Jesse Waterman the dwelling House known as Brookdale situated on the south side of Fogo Harbour with all the Furniture and land connected therewith, to have and to hold the same her her heirs and assigns for ever.
Lastly I constitute and appoint Ernest Edmund Hyde as my Executor to carry out the provisions of this my last will and Testament, as witness my hand at Fogo aforesaid this Twenty fourth day of May A.D. 1904    James Cox Waterman Signed by the said James Cox Waterman the Testator in the presence of us, who in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time subscribe our names as witnesses.
