In re
William Vokey deceased.
This is the last will and Testament
of me William Vokey. I William Vokey Sr. fisherman of Spaniards Bay Newfoundland
being in a sound state of mind do make and ordain this my last will and
Testament and in so doing I first nominate constitute and appoint B.
B. Squires and Solomon Gosse Sr. of Spaniards Bay to be the sole Executors
of this my last will & Testament After which I give and bequeath
of my property in the manner and proportions here following:-
First
I give and bequeath to my son James his heirs assigns
or successors my dwelling house and all my front land situated at Bunkers
Hill Spaniards Bay, to become his only after the death of
my wife Jane should she not depart this life before
me
And secondly I give and bequeath to my three grandsons viz George
Henry and James Vokey of Henry, all my back
land situate at
Bunker’s
Hill Spaniard’s Bay to become theirs only after
the death of my wife Jane should she not depart this
life before me And I the said William Vokey aforesaid
do hereby revoke all other wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore
made I do hereby declare this to be my last will and Testament. In witness
whereof I the said William Vokey have to this my last
will and Testament set my hand this 18th day of September
Anno Domini one thousand and eight hundred and ninety two. (Signature
of Testator) William his x mark Vokey Sr.
Read over and signed by Testator in the presence of us attesting witnesses Solomon
his x mark Gosse Sr. B. B. Squires
