Will of Arthur Vivian
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 page 212 probate year 1925

In re
      ARTHUR VIVIAN.     DECEASED.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Arthur Vivian of Shambler’s Cove, in the Dominion of Newfoundland, made this 7th day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty four, 1924.

I hereby revoke all Wills made by me at any time heretofore.

I appoint my son Arthur J. Vivian, of Shambler’s Cove, to be my executor of this my last Will and Testament, and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.

  1. I give and bequeath to my son Arthur John Vivian, my Dwelling House and office and furniture, also Motor Engine and all my tools and implements and all shares I have in the Fishermen’s Union Trading Company, Limited, of Port Union, Newfoundland.

  2. I give and bequeath to my son Naboth Vivian and Arthur John Vivian my Cod-trap, Caplin Seine, Stage and Store and all my land situate at Smart’s Island Cove, in the District of Bonavista.

  3. I give and bequeath to my Grandson Walter Henry Vivian my Watch and bed and bedding.

After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I direct that the balance be equally divided between my four sons, namely: Naboth, Alexander W., Henry, and Arthur John Vivian, share and share alike.

Signed by the said Testator Arthur Vivian in the presence of us, present at the same time, who at his request in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses.
