Will of Richard Benjamin Tucker, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 155 probate year 1930 IN RE. DECEASED RICHARD BENJAMIN TUCKER This is the last will and testament of me Richard Benjamin Tucker of St Philips East in the district of St John's West (Extern) but at present residing at the home of my adopted son William Mercer on the Thorburn Road, made this twenty eight day of March in the Year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty. I appoint Chas. R. Belbin Postmaster of St Philips to be Executor of this my will and direct that all my debts and Funeral Expenses be paid as soon as may be convenient after my decease. I give devise and bequeath to my adopted son William Mercer aforesaid all that piece or parcel of land situate on St Philips Hill together with my dwelling house and all its contents and the barn and all the other outhouses thereon situated. Also that piece or parcel of land situated on the Tolt Road and which is bounded on the north by land of Richard King and on the South by land now in possession of Arthur Cull also a piece of uncultivated land containing about five acres situate about half a mile more or less further along the aforesaid Tolt Road which forms its Eastern Boundary and it is my will and desire that these properties as described together with the dwelling house and outhouses also described shall immediately after my decease belong absolutely and unconditionally to this my adopted son William Mercer aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns for ever.
