Will of James Toms from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 440 probate year 1889 Last will and Testament This is the last will and testament of James Toms of Shoe Cove, Newfoundland. I hereby give devise and bequeath to my wife Mary Toms for her own use and benefit all my lands goods and moneys; and whatever of the said lands goods and moneys shall be left at her decease shall become the property of my daughter Lavinia Cousins her heirs and successors. And I hereby appoint the said Mary Toms sole executrix of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 13th day of July one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight. James his x mark Toms. Signed by the said James Toms in the presence of us present at the same time, who, in his presence and in the presence of each other attest and subscribe our names as witnesses hereto. Arthur Pittman William A. Toms witnesses. I certify the foregoing a correct copy of the will of James Toms Registrar
