Last Will and Testament of
Louisa Tibbo of Grand Bank
Widow deceased.
In the name of God Amen, I Louisa Tibbo of
Grand Bank in the Island of Newfoundland being of sound and disposing mind
and memory and considering the uncertainty of this life, do make publish and
declare this to be my last will and Testament as follows
1st I give
devise and bequeath to my children, Susan Nicholle and Jonathan
Tibbo, to be
owned by them conjointly in equal shares my dwelling house and stage and all
adjoining land, including land adjoining now rented by Thomas Foote, situate
at Grand Bank. Also that piece of land near the Methodist Church, adjoining
land now in the possession of Samuel Harris and William Hickman, not including
that parcel of land that I previously gave to the late Benjamin Hollett, now
in possession of widow Benjamin Hollett And last I hereby constitute
and appoint my brothers John Patten and Simeon Patten to be executors of this
my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me made
not herein mentioned and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my
last will & Testament. (Sgd) Louisa her x mark Tibbo (LS) Signed declared
and published by the above named Louisa Tibbo as and for her last will and
testament in presence of us, who at her request have signed and witnessed the
same, this twenty fourth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand
nine hundred (sgd) Geo A. Buffett J.P. (Sgd) Allan
