Will of Jonathan Tibbo, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 338 probate year 1931

IN RE.                              DECEASED

JONATHAN TIBBO

I, Jonathan Tibbo of Grand Bank in the district of Burin west, fisherman, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretobefore made.

  1. I hereby appoint George Dunford and Aaron Forsey (of Robt) all of Grand Bank to be my executors of this my last will and testament directing my said executors to pay all my debts and funeral expenses out of my estate as soon as conveniently may be after my decease.
  2. After the payment of my said debts and funeral expenses, I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate which I may now or hereafter be possessed of or interested in, in the manner following that is to say:-

I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane, my dwelling house with grounds on which it stands, and all furniture contained therein, also all moneys in the bank to my credit, I direct that any money left in the Bank at my wifes death shall be divided between all my children in equal parts.
  4. I give devise and bequeath to my wife that meadow at Grand Bank adjacent to John Hydes store.
  5. I give, devise and bequeath my waterside premises to my four daughters Maude Forsey, Tryphena Bradley, and Mary MacDonald & Louisa MacWhirter share and share alike.
  6. To my son Wilson I give and bequeath my piece of land situate at Grand Bank adjoining property of the late Samuel Harris.
  7. I give devise and bequeath to my daughter Tryphena Bradley my meadow in the cove adjoining land of William Forsey.

IN witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Grand Bank this 30 day of July in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and Thirty.

Signed published and declared by the said Jonathan Tibbo the testator, as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us, both present together at the same time, and in his presence, at his request and in the presence of each other, have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the due execution thereof.
