Will of Mary Thorpe from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 334 probate year 1888 Last will and Testament Tuesday Sept th 1887 I Mary Thorpe very weak in bodily health but perfectly sound in mind and memory do hereby will that my property shall be divided as follows. To my sister Elizabeth Purcell I will and bequeath, the dwelling house she lives in at present, and the Garden in front of said house occupied at present by her, and the land on which the stable and flake are built. To be sold to no one outside the family. To my nephew Thomas Pendergast I will and bequeath all the remaining property belonging to me. Executor Peter H. Thorpe. Witnesses John Thorpe. Benjamin P. Thorpe.
