Virtue Ann Thomas.

This is the last will and testament of me, Virtue Ann Thomas of St John's, Newfoundland, widow.
I appoint my daughter Emma Maude Thomas sole executrix of this my will.
I will and bequeath my household furniture to my unmarried daughters Jessie Elizabeth Thomas and Emma Maude Thomas in equal parts share and share alike.
I bequeath to my daughter Jessie Elizabeth Thomas the sum of one thousand dollars.
I bequeath to my daughter Ida Isabel Godden the sum of five hundred dollars.
I bequeath to my daughter Mary Snow the sum of five hundred dollars.
All the residue and remainder of my estate after payment therefrom of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and death duties on my estate I will and bequeath to my said daughter Emma Maude Thomas for her sole use and benefit.
In witness whereof I have subscribed my hand hereto this fourth day of January A.D. 1928.
