In the name of God Amen
This is the last will and testament of me Arch Targett of Hants Harbour Trinity Bay Nfld.
In order to settle the succession of my property and prevent dispute after my death and for the love and goodwill and affection I have for my beloved wife Sarah Taegett I do hereby give grant and assign to her all my possessions fixed and moveable which I hold and claim at the above named place. Said property to be hers if she survives me whether her name remains what it is now or whether she alters it.
In witness whereof I subscribe these presents written this twenty seventh day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety one.
