PATRICK STRAPP deceased.
This is the last will and testament
of me Patrick Strapp Sr of Hr Main Conception Bay Newfoundland,
Planter and Farmer Made this the twenty second day of May One thousand eight
hundred and ninety six. (Bequeath- First I give, devise and bequeath unto my wife Elizabeth
Strapp all monies
due me from the estate of my bro Stephen Strapp left me under my mothers will,
after my funeral expenses shall be paid- also to my wife I give and bequeath
That Bed Stead and bedding that she now occupies.
Next, I give and bequeath to my two sons Thomas and Walter
Strapp all the land
that I own at Hr Main my part of the house and out houses together with all
the Furniture to be divided equally between them I give and bequeath to my
son Thomas Strapp That House and land situated on Water Street Hr Grace. It
is my wish and desire that if my daughter Marian Strapp requires a building
plot to live on she is to have the same from out of my part of the land at
Hr Main and I hereby empower my son Thomas to allocate the
same after the land is divided Patrick his X mark

of us; and in the presence of each other we have set our hands sealed Witnesses Charles
