Last will and Testament of
John Stack of Outer Cove
In the name of God Amen.
is the last will and Testament of me John Stack of Outer
Cove in the Island of Newfoundland fisherman. 1st I bequeath
all my lands goods chattels monies and effects of whatsoever kind that
I may die possessed of to my daughter Mary Walsh wife
of John Walsh to her only use and behoof
free from the debts of her present or any husband and I now revoke all
other wills made by me and I appoint the said Mary Walsh Executrix
of this my last will and Testament. (Sgd) John his X mark Stack.
Signed published and declared as my last will and Testament in the presence
of us and of each of us having been first read over and explained in
our and each of our presence at Saint John’s in the Island aforesaid
this 13th day of September A.D. 1898. (Sgd) R. J.
