Will of Joseph Snelgrove TRANSCRIPT OF THE WILL OF JOSEPH SNELGROVE OF GRATES COVE (1813 - 1907) This is the Last Will & Testament of me, Joseph Snelgrove, of Grates Cove, in the District of Bay de Verde, Newfoundland. I hereby revoke all former wills Testamentary dispositions whatsoever. I hereby give, devise & bequeath all my property real and personal, of whatever Description to my wife Mary, and after the death of my wife Mary, to my daughter Elfrieda Lambert. Should either of my nephews, Simeon Wesley or Gilbert Snelgrove want a site to build a house they are to have it, whilst they remain here. But forfeits all claims as soon as the said parties leaves the above mentioned place. And I appoint my daughter Elfrieda Lambert the executrix of this my will. Dated this 6th day of February, 1905. Signed and declared by the above Joseph Snelgrove as and for his last will and Testament in the presence of us, both present at the same time, who, at his request and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
