Will of Thomas R. Smith

Last Will and Testament of
Thomas R. Smith of St. John's
Merchant deceased.

      This is the last will and Testament of me Thomas R. Smith of St. John's in the Island of Newfoundland Gentleman I give devise and bequeath unto Flora Hayward Crowdy wife of William H. Crowdy all and singular whatsoever lands monies properties and effects of every description and wheresoever situate that I may die possessed of to hold the same in her own right absolutely and for ever. I hereby revoke all wills and codicils heretofore by me at any time made and I appoint the said Flora Hayward Crowdy my sole executrix. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand at St. John's aforesaid this twenty fourth day of May Anno Domini one thousand nine hundred and one. (Sgd) Thos. R. Smith Signed by the said testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who present at the same time and in his presence have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. (Sgd) J. Augustus Clift. (Sgd) John W. Owen.

      I certify the foregoing to be a correct copy of the last will and Testament of Thomas R. Smith deceased
