Will of Peter Smith, from Newfoundland will books volume 15 page 116 probate year 1930

IN RE.                DECEASED

PETER SMITH

I peter Smith of Argentia being of sound memory and understanding do hereby make my last will and testament as follows:-
First- I bequeath absolutely to Catherine Lamb (my daughter) shop piece of land half that piece of land N.E. Section situated at Point Hall bounded on S & E by Michl Smiths land and on N by Public Road- the other half of that said piece of land S.W. section I bequeath absolutely to my daughter Mary Kemp.
Second. I bequeath absolutely to Bride Kelly my daughter that piece of land situated at Long Hill and bounded on N.E. by Main Road, on N.W. by Mr J. Smiths land on South by Homestead Cellar and S.E. by fence leading from Main Road to Cellar.
Third- I bequeath absolutely to my sons Thomas and alex all my lands and property thereon situated on N.E. side of Main Road bounded on the N by Saag Pond on N.E. by Dunphys land and S.E. by Dunphys land and on S.W. by Main Road.
Fourth- I bequeath absolutely to my sons Thomas and Alex all my lands situated at Marquise bounded on west by Argentia Beach on the s by Peter Smiths land on E & S by Harvey J. Smiths land. The half of these lands - N.E. section on which is dwelling house and barn is my son Thomas portion of same.
Fifth- I bequeath absolutely to my son Alex the homestead lands situated at Long Hill bounded on N.E. by Main Road on N.W. by Bride Kelly's land on S.W. by Thos Kellys land and on S.E. by Ushers land.
Sixth I bequeath absolutely to my son Alex dwelling house and barns situated on Homestead land - after the death of my wife Martha Smith.
Seventh- I bequeath absolutely to my grand daughter Ellen Kelly fifty dollars cash to be paid by my son Thomas and fifty dollars cash to my grand daughter Imeeda Lamb also payable by my son Thomas.
Eight- I bequeath absolutely to my wife Martha Smith the residue of my estate including monies, Live Stock etc.
I hereby appoint Thomas Smith executrix of my estate.
