Will of John Skinner
from Newfoundland will books volume 13 page 417 probate year 1926

In re
      JOHN SKINNER.     DECEASED.

This is the last will and testament of me John Skinner of St. John’s in the Island of Newfoundland Marble Worker.

1st. I appoint my wife Janet Skinner and my son Si Angelo Skinner Executors of this my Will.

2nd. I give my son Stanley Campbell Skinner, the sum of Five hundred dollars out of the Estate.

3rd. I direct that my Executors shall rent to my sons Si Angelo Skinner and Arthur John Skinner The shop now used by me as a Marble Shop etc Also the land used as garage together with the Old Shop now used as a Store Room etc for the sum of Four hundred dollars per year, payable half yearly. All repairs if any to be made by my Two Sons named.

4th. Subject as aforesaid I give devise and bequeath my lands and premises situate on Duckworth Street, and the proceeds of my life insurance and all the residue and remainder of my estate to my wife Janet Skinner during her life and while she remains unmarried.

5th. On the death of my wife I give devise and bequeath the said lands and premises and whatever remains of the said life insurance moneys and the residue of my estate to my said three sons equally. The freehold property and land to be sold and the moneys to be equally divided between my Three sons aforesaid.

6th. On the death of my wife I give my Piano to my son Stanley Campbell Skinner.

Witness my hand at St. John’s aforesaid this 26th day of April 1921.    JOHN SKINNER.
