In re
William Skeard deceased.
Last will and Testament I William
Skeard of Channel in the District of Burgeo and LaPoile being
of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and Testament
in manner and form following:- That is to say
1. I give devise
and bequeath to my son Philip Skeard that portion of my property consisting
of Lands Dwelling house and outhouses and all other property on said
lands the said Philip Skeard to look after, and provide
for his mother during her life
2. I further give devise and bequeath
to my two sons John Skeard and Charles Skeard to be equally divided between
them all my fishing gear consisting of Boats, punt nets, lures & twine
3.. I hereby appoint Mr W. A. Morgan & Mr Reuben Bennett to be Executors
of this my last will & Testament signed William his x mark
Skeard Signed by the said William
Skeard in the presence of us, who in his presence
and in the presence of each other attest and subscribe our names as witnesses
hereto this first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and eight. Witnesses H. J. Read (clergyman)
