Will of George Martin Simms
This is the last Will and Testament of George Martin Simms, Fisherman of Fogo, in the Island of Newfoundland.
I will and bequeath to my daughter Janet Cull the land on which their house is built. The rest of my real estate with the buildings thereon I leave to be shared share and share alike between my two sons Ambrose Simms and George Simms and would wish them to use it jointly. My wife Patience Simms is to live on the property as long as she wishes and to be looked after by Ambrose and George and maintained by them if she so needs.
My money in the Bank of Nova Scotia Fogo in joint account I leave to my wife Patience Simms together with any money that may be in the house or elsewhere belonging to me and all my personal effects
This will was read over and explained to the Testator in his presence and the presence of us witnesses each in the presence of him and each other, and signed by us all in the same presence on the Eleventh day of November One thousand nine hundred and twenty one at Fogo
