Will of John C. Simmons from Newfoundland will books volume 5 page 328 probate year 1888 Last will and Testament Harries Harbor January 4th in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight. - I John C. Simmons do certify this as my last will and Testament This is to certify that all my property houses land, and the above property will be divided into five parts. - After my decease my wife Julia Simmons, Willis J. Simmons, Ubert Simmons, Archibald H. Simmons, John Eleazer Simmons, will receive equal parts, only John Eleazer Simmons will receive his part of said property, at the age of twenty one years. The vessel which I hold is to be sold. When sold my wife Julia Simmons will receive fifty pounds £50 currency. The remainder of money received for the said vessel will be divided between Willis J. Simmons, Ubert Simmons, Archibald H. Simmons, John Eleazer Simmons. - Witness my hand John C. Simmons. - Witness Henry Knight, George Gorden.
