WALTER SCOTT.
To whom it may concern
Know all men by this my last will & testament
that I Walter Scott of Upper Gullies, in the district of Harbour Main being
of sound mind do hereby will and bequeath.
- To my father George Scott the sum of two hundred
dollars $200.00 now in the Newfoundland Government Saving Bank.The balance
of money in the Newfoundland Government Saving Bank in my account to
my wife Nellie Scott.
- The balance of my wages for
time due me by J. J. Kennedy to be paid to my brother Henry
Scott.
- Part of my furniture consisting of Bureau Table and
Chairs and piece of canvas on Bed room floor to my step mother Martha
Scott.
- Part
of same will and testament.
- Part of my furniture consisting Bed, Mattress
springs & Bedding
also dishes to my wife Nellie Scott.
- Part of my namely
one stove in Kitchen to J. J. Kennedy.
- All my clothing
to my father.
- I appoint J. J. Kennedy as my executor.
I do hereby place my hand and signature on the fifteenth day of August
in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and twenty nine.
