Will of Robert Scott
from Newfoundland will books volume 9 pages 595-596 probate year 1913

In re
      Robert Scott          deceased.

      Being aware of the uncertainty of Human Life I herein make and declare this my last will and testament viz to say. The dwelling House as at Present occupied by me is to be the Property of Elizabeth Fiddes Forrest or Scott my wife so long as she remains ingle for her own use and any of her Family so long as they are single or unmarried. Should the said Mrs Scott get married again the Dwelling to go with the Business Premises, which are to be the joint Property of aforesaid Elisabeth Fiddes Forrest or Scott along with her two sons Robert Fiddes Scott and Maxwell Scott should there be any disagreement and any of the Parties will to leave the are to receive one thousand Dollars as there share of the Landed Property both in Connection with the Room and also the meadow on the old Seldom Combye Road
Annie is to have the Piano and Jacqueline the Organ if unmarried at the time of my death otherwise to remain the property of their mother along with all the other House Furniture and they are to be provided with reasonable supplies say not less than two hundred & Fifty Dollars a year from Robert and Max Scott and in consideration they are to have the whole Business Premises As witness my hand this 7th day of April 1910 ----- Robert Scott -.
