Will of Marion E. Scandrett from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 548 probate year 1929 IN RE DECEASED This is the paper writing marked "A" in the forgoing
Affidavitts June 19th April 2nd, 1928 Signed by me Marion E. Scardrett (Listed in the margin next to this will the following) Note by Colleen Haynes: There were ten
pages for her. One page said it was her handwriting. Looking at the will again
I could not read the witnesses. On the very top on the right hand side was
written what looks like 8WS. Also she hand wrote her will on April 2, 1928.
(This was on the top right hand side.) Before I was unsure of the name Muir,
but that same name was repeated on other pages, so it must be right. Marion
E. Scandrett died in Wales in Dec of 1928. Note: husband's name was Edward W. Scandrett - The Scandrett family lived at 100 Pleasant Street, St. John's (per 1921 Census). The 1921 census information can be found in the appropriate community of the respective district if anyone would like to go there and look it up.
