Will of William Saunders from Newfoundland will books volume 14 page 390 probate year 1928

In re       DECEASED.
      WILLIAM SAUNDERS.

This is the last will and testament of me William Saunders of St. John's west storekeeper, made by me on this Second DAY OF June A.D. 1928.
I desire that all my just debts shall be paid and shall be the first charge on my estate.
I give and bequeath TO MY sister Elizabeth White one hundred dollars $100.
To my sister Susan Kenny one hundred dollars $100.
To my sister Emma Halfpenny fifty dollars $50.
To my daughter Ethel Gibbs four hundred dollars $400.
To John Ford with whom I lodge, one hundred dollars $100.
To the new church fund of St. Michaels and All Angels in St. John's one hundred dollars $100.
My executor to set aside the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars $150. to pay for a tombstone and rail for my grave.
To my son Charles Henry Saunders my double faced silver watch.
To John Ford with whom I lodge my Waltham watch.
To my son Charles Henry my bureau and trunk.
The remainder of my money I leave to my son Charles Henry absolutely.
I hereby appoint John P. Luscombe as my executor.
Signed published and declared by the testator as and for his last will in our presence who in his presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
