Last will and testament of Joseph Samson in the Estate Files Probate year 1899.

This is my last will and testament.

I give and bequeath unto my grandson Joseph Albert Samson the clock bed and bedding in the bedroom usually occupied by me in my home.

I give and bequeath to my grandson Loyal Ralph one bed, bedding and one gun.

I give and bequeath to my grandson Charles Samson one bed, bedding and one watch.

I give and bequeath to my grandson Stanley Samson one watch.

I give and bequeath to my grandson Arthur Samson one watch.

I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Frederick Samson one gun, my house and its contents (save and except the articles hereby specifically bequeathed) and the land inside the yard fence.

I give and bequeath my fishery room, meadows and garden to my sons William, James and Joseph Frederick Samson share and share alike.

I give and bequeath the gold, silver, and copper money, and the bank notes, in my possession at the time of my death, to my daughters Elizabeth Ralph and Rebecca Samson, and to my sons William, James and Joseph Frederick Samson share and share alike.

I direct that the stock in my store at my death shall be by my Executor divided as nearly as may be into eight equal parts, and I hereby give and bequeath one such part to each of my two daughters above named, and two such parts to each of my three sons above named.

All the rest residue and remainder of my property of whatsoever nature and kind I give and bequeath to my daughters and sons share and share alike.

I hereby appoint J.W. Cullen, of Flat Islands, to be my Executor.

DATED at Saint John's this sixth day of November
Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety
seven.
